Composition
Each gram contains: Sodium Fusidate 20 mg.Pharmacology
Sodium Fusidate inhibits protein synthesis in gram-positive bacteria especially Staphylococcus aureus.Indications
Fucidin® is indicated for treatment of skin infections caused by staphylococci or other Fucidin®-sensitive organisms, for example: Impetigo Contagiosa, superficial folicullitis, Infected wounds, Sycosis barbae, Carbuncles, Hidradenitis axillaries, abscesses, Paronychia and Erythrasma.Dosage And Administration
Fucidin® is applied to the affected area 2-3 times daily, generally for a period of 7 days,and can be used even with or without plaster.
Side-Effects
Skin rash have been reported.Contra Indication
Patients proven to have hypersensitivity towards one of the ingredients in Fucidin®. Infection caused by organisms which is not susceptible to Fucidin® especially Pseudomonas Aeroginosa.HARUS DENGAN RESEP DOKTER
